You might remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison sometime in the 1980s.

Thousands of people share these exact false memories, down to identical details. A 2022 University of Chicago study found something stranger: people who had never even seen the Monopoly Man before spontaneously drew him with the same wrong monocle.
