The Mandela Effect is a widely reported yet little understood topic. To start with, it’s totally and completely unfalsifiable. How can I prove something was the case when all the evidence outside of myself – or those with similar recollections – are entirely at odds? The issue ultimately rests on consensus or bandwagon appeals. Problematic to say the least. That said, wide agreement does carry more authority than the anecdote of just one individual. In this video, Lily Evans and I speculate on what could be going on here. And she offers a very intriguing Quantum Theory which may help one demystify what is going on. Yes, it’s speculative…but interesting!
