The Mandela Effect is not recognised in psychology literature, and I could only find one piece of published empirical research in a (albeit brief) literature search. The Mandela Effect is actually part of esotericism, and seen as a gateway to parallel worlds or universes. I am NOT an esotericist, or in to parallel worlds etc, this is just what I found in my search. I’m a psychologist with a master’s degree in health services and population research, and a background in health analytics.
