The Mandela Effect was first coined by Fiona Broome when she mistakenly remembered Nelson Mandela’s death way before he actually died. This has created numerous theories as to why we remember things one way when they actually are another, including the fact that we could be remembering things that happened in a parallel universe. But is that the case? Or are we just being tricked by numerous examples of collective misremembering.
